CIPDP intends to carry out a baseline survey to establish the level of participation of communities in biodiversity conservation disaggregated to men, women, youth, children and any other user groups and identifying any existing relevant governance structures, in Chepkitale and areas adjacent to Mt. Elgon Forests Reserves and Mt. Elgon National Park, in both Trans Nzoia and Bungoma Counties.
